“The Glo Haus was a unique experience and even though it rained my entire visit, I loved it. The sound of the rain was so relaxing. The creek nearby was beautiful and I even woke up to deer outside. The bath house is one of the nicest I’ve seen with private bathrooms only you have access to. Can’t wait to stay again in better weather. Gorgeous property. ”

“We had a great stay overall! The animals were all nice besides the donkey. The market was nice for breakfast and a little shopping. The cabin was a bit chilly the first night as there’s not really insulation but with both heaters going and the fan blowing towards the roof it made it more than comfortable the second night. The hosts were communicative and accommodating. There’s no service up there which could be a plus or negative depending what you’re looking for but there is WiFi available at...

“My friends and I like the outdoors. We like to hunt and fish and we have added riding ADV motorcycles to the mix. Michaels place allows us to have the perfect base camp for all of that. We have stayed here multiple times. We look forward to many more.Michael is a wonderful host. He is there if needed and is constantly making small upgrades that make the stay more comfortable.”

“Great location. I realized after booking that this was one of my aunts’ house built by her brother (my uncle) back in the 70s. It was added onto later by some Mennonite ladies who she sold it to. My dad had carved out a plot for her to live on out of property he owned there (and later sold to the current owners I think). ”

“Scenic view of verdant hills with cattle grazing. This is a homestead farm with goats, donkey and peacocks. At night when the sky is clear, you can see the bright stars in the hemisphere. It’s a country experience with a flair of Tyrol Austria.”

“First and foremost, the property was as described and very clean. This is the last cabin on this trail and the privacy is very nice. Very well appointed and had everything we needed. From relaxing in the hot tub or sitting by the fire listening to the water it was so relaxing and peaceful. We will definitely be returning. ”
